Accenture acquires Arca to accelerate 5G cloud network transformation

Accenture, a professional services company, has reportedly acquired Arca, an engineering company that focuses on business services and network operations.
Following the acquisition, Accenture will reinforce its role as a key partner for the design, engineering, operation, and deployment of network services such as IoT, 5G, mobile, data, and voice. These services have been provided for clients in industries such as energy, telecommunications, and infrastructure. In addition, it will enhance the network capabilities of the company in Portugal and Spain, providing a set of transformation services across the 5G network engineering, deployment, operations, and industry services.
Arca is known for providing multidisciplinary services for the network operators, including activities to design, engineer, deploy, and manage telecom infrastructure. This is aided by an integrated platform that can automate network monitoring, optimize processes, and predict system anomalies. These capabilities, in combination with the SynOps platform of Accenture, will drive its ability to help multiple organizations pivot their operating models to a new source of growth.
As per the statement made by the market unit lead of Accenture in Iberia, Domingo Mirón, the 5G, edge, and cloud computing will significantly drive innovation for businesses. In order to realize its full potential, companies must adopt the right strategy and develop new business solutions that are supported by network investments. The deal will also strengthen the ability of clients to accelerate the 5G cloud network transformation by leveraging the expertise of Arca.
For the record, Arca, which was founded in 1998, has maintained a vast experience by partnering with telco infrastructure service enterprises, network operators, and other large companies to aid in the transformation of their businesses and processes as well as the implementation of new communication technologies. The company provides business services such as analytics, sales support, process assessment, service assurance, and provisioning, with 14 offices in Spain, including Malaga, Vigo, Sevilla, Barcelona, Valencia, and Madrid.
