POWERHOME-Generac unite to offer complete energy package to customers

POWERHOME, a solar energy company, has recently announced its partnership with Generac Power Systems. Generac is a manufacturer of backup power generators for commercial and residential markets.

The solar energy company currently delivers complete energy package to customers, which includes battery storage components & generators of Generac, along with the installation of any solar panel.

PWRcell, a solar battery system of Generac, is scalable & can store between 8.6 to 17.1 kW hours of energy. PWRcell batteries offer smart energy management and backup power as per the demands of the customers. The modular design of this solar battery system can enable easy customization at any budget or location.

The energy package provided by POWERHOME will also offer automatic home backup generators of Generac, in addition to the solar panels and batteries. These generators, with size range from 7.5kW-150kW, can run proficiently on propane or natural gas and deliver the power automatically during an outage.

According to Jayson Waller, CEO of POWERHOME, the installation of a solar battery, which is a part of the solar panel system, will enable the house owner to store the excess electricity instead of returning it to the grid. The stored electricity in the PWRcell battery can be consumed when the solar panels are not producing electricity. In this way, the battery technology and generators of Generac have introduced an efficient way of storing and supplying power, whenever the need arises.

26% of the federal tax credit can be applied to the addition of solar panel systems with the batteries and run throughout to the end of 2020.

Michael Rather, Generac’s vice president of sales, has stated that the company, with its leadership position in the residential backup power, will gain knowledge through the recent partnership to deliver a complete package that helps consumers utilize, store, and harness power to save money on the utility bills, prepare for outage and surge the adoption of renewable energy.
